EDIT: it's 17:35 right now and I finished scene 9 and 10. Currently editing it all together, if all goes well the movie should be out in the nearest 3 hours.

Just joking, of course there are problems. Right now I'm worrying about the music, learning some basics regarding editing it + being able to make an end card.

Time is running short and I don't know if I'm going to be able to finish it in time, even though I'm so close.

We're so close. So close to finally ending it.

I managed to do a little bit of animating today.

After thinking about the story a bit more I was able to make it so it basically has multiple l a y e r s now, including meta ones.

Yeah I know this is a madness movie but... I dunno... I think it would be cool to make something like this. There IS a problem though.. there's just too much dialogue. Even though it's essential. Or at least it feels like it is. Also, huge point, I simply don't have enough time to make detailed fucking character development or, like, any kind of good pacing that would work for a story like this. But I feel like it could still work somehow. Oh well, we'll see on Madness Day.

I also made some preparations for scene 9, e.g. posters and stuff like that.

I will start animating as soon as I can.

Also school's trying to hinder my progress, but I won't let that happen.

Unfortunately I accidentally feel asleep yesterday. So that's why i'm writing this now.

I have bad news, I still wasn't able to finish scene 8, at least I improved some previous scenes and made sure they all worked as I intended, without any b u g s. I promise I will finish scene 8 today. And make as much progress on scene 9 as possible.

I will post a screenshot in the next report, I think

We're halfway there.

Unfortunately even though i was working from the moment I woke up until now I was able to only make scene 7, which I think I could still improve. When it comes to scene 8, it's the last dialog-heavy scene, after that comes 1-2 (I will explain later) scenes of action and then the ending.

Now, before I go further, I just wanted to say that I figured out how to make videos in 4k, which means that... yeah. I can make 4k animations now. Cool. I discovered that after I also discovered that the movie is almost 4.5k frames long! (Roughly 2:30min.)

Okay. Back to the bad stuff. Scene 8 was not complete today which means I'm running behind schedule. Here's the catch. The reason why I was supposed to complete this scene today was because I wanted to give myself extra time for completing the next 2 scenes. But what if I told you all I could maybe condense scene 10 and scene 9 into just one scene? OR make scene 10 way shorter? Or should I just work even harder to do what I initially set out to do? What do you think? You can let me know what you think would be better in the comments.

I'm sorry for procrastinating so much today. At least I was able to find a way of making me be actually able to finish scene 7 tomorrow by thinking about it a lot. And probably 8 too.

Heh, at least I wasn't completely fucking tired today. But I didn't make enough progress so why would that matter?

Alright, Alright. I will just animate a lot tomorrow. I should be fine as long as the procrastination won't continue.

Oh and before anyone asks, I did consider livestreaming again just for that reason, but my "hardware" is still shit so I concluded it's better for me to do this "alone".
